Tyler has over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. His foundation started a lifetime ago as he is the third generation in the Sturgill family to pursue his calling in the financial services industry. Tyler studied accounting at Clarion University in the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania before beginning his career with a national financial firm in Washington, D.C. Throughout his career, Tyler gained valuable insight while working with individuals, families, and corporations. Following his entrepreneurial spirit, Tyler founded Chain Bridge Financial Group, LLC in 2015.
Along with his strong financial background, Tyler is drawn to the ever-changing world of technology. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Carroll Technology Council as well as the Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory (MAGIC) where he chairs the Cybersecurity Committee. He is also part of the leadership team for MAGIC’s Capture the Flag program which is an ethical hacking competition for high school and college students.
Tyler is an avid outdoorsman and when not working you can find him exploring the back-country, hiking with his wife, Rachel, and their golden retriever, Koda or spending time on the water. This passion as a family extends to their support and advocacy for wildlife and public land conservation. They are longtime supporters of a variety of conservation organizations including of the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership, Back Country Hunters and Anglers, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and Ducks Unlimited.
